It was by total luck that we found this place. After visiting a “box store” to find my son’s drum set and older gent approached me and said “Go see Shawn”. What a blessing that was. I met him that day at his shop and he spent an hour talking to me about the things that my son would need. He convinced me that even though I wanted to make it a surprise that my son needed to be a part of the purchasing process. There was no “upselling” and no pressure. He spent the next day with my son explaining in and outs. Letting him bang away on the drums and figure out what felt right. He put a fantastic package together for us. His care and knowledge about what he does, is a passion. Shawn you made this easy and we appreciate it so very much. The only thing I would suggest is complimentary earplugs for parents! Thank you so much again!

The owner stocks cooler drums than any store within 200 miles and they also have an awesome variety of used guitars. The store is staffed by people with a passion for music and that really makes a difference. The owner and his wife are super friendly people always looking to help the customers. The best part is the great prices. If you are tired of the same old inventory of boring gear, check this place out.

Really great guitars for really great prices. I was genuinely surprised at the selection of amps too. If you ever need some new pickups, or a new guitar, I definitely would recommend this place.

I found a floor tom online that he was offering so I decided to take the hour and a half trip down to Lansing from Mount Pleasant. I decided to look for hi-hats too and Shawn was extremely helpful. He picked out a number of hi-hats and put them all on different stands for me to try out all of them. He even chose some from a brand I wasn't looking for just to see how they sounded. In the end he gave me a great discount. I will definitely come back here when I am looking for drum gear. Oh, one more thing!! He has an awesome Aquabats drum kit!!
