I’m a band director, and was looking to improve my drumset playing so I can be a better teacher. Jeff has been an absolute rockstar to work with! He’s super patient, knowledgeable, and down-to-earth. He’s really thought about the best way to teach music and percussion, and he makes it super easy to understand. There’s no shortcut to mastering a skill, but if you’re willing to put in the time, Jeff is more than happy to help. I highly recommend him!

I've been taking drum lessons with Jeff, and I can't recommend him enough! His teaching style is engaging, and he has a knack for breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps. Jeff's passion for music is contagious, and he genuinely cares about his students' progress. Within just a few lessons, I've seen remarkable improvement.

We are so very pleased we found Jeff to provide lessons to our 10 year old son- he has been playing for years but never had formal lessons. What an amazing experience it has been to watch Jeff work with him as he improves his skills immensely. Jeff is so patient and kind and he treats our son (and us) with complete respect. His methods are extremely thorough and we like how he uses advanced vocabulary and terms to introduce new concepts yet explains himself well when necessary. Jeff clearly enjoys himself and takes pride in what he does and it shows every minute of the lessons. One thing he always says is that he is a mentor and not a teacher and that he is learning all the time too- what a great way to approach a student! Though his lessons are challenging, they are NEVER overwhelming- Jeff makes sure to fuel our son's passion for drumming by always reminding him that it must remain fun! I found Jeff searching for adult drum lessons - I’m 35 and haven’t played drums in many years. Jeff was up for the challenge. Since I’ve started working with Jeff, I’ve done a good amount of “rust shedding” and I can see that I’ve come a long way in a relatively short time. I continue to learn more each lesson, while also pushing the envelope each week. Re-building a solid foundation is no easy task.
