I recently attended Musical Expressions’ “Rock U” show at Two Brothers Roundhouse. It was a phenomenal performance by musicians of all ages and experience levels. My friend has been learning the drums for the past 6 months and this was her first time playing at the Rock U show. She did amazing!! It’s incredible how much she’s learned in such a short time! All of the performances were impressive and the music school is bursting with talent. I also had the pleasure of meeting my friend’s drum instructor, Mark. He was the epitome of a proud teacher- smiling and cheering on his student! I had heard so many great things about Mark and the school. It was a joy to meet him and experience the electric atmosphere. I plan to enroll my son as soon as he decides which instrument he wants to try! I may also take lessons myself!

My wife was in it as she continues to learn the drums and it was awesome to see her up on stage with a band. Such a cool experience for the students and family and friends.. Can’t wait to do it again!!. P.S. My wife LOVES her instructors. Shout out to Mark P and Emily L!

Being in my late thirties and never having followed through with lessons in the past, these guys are beyond encouraging and supportive. I also needed to work with teachers who have an understanding for learning disabilities, and I came to the right spot. A judgement-free zone. A safe space to learn and to grow. I just recently played drums in their "Rock U" show and I talked to so many people from all walks of life. I couldn't get over the diversity and the welcoming energy! I spoke to folks in their later 40's and above who started taking lessons just a few years ago and they are thriving. If you want a school that will take you places you never thought you could go with music, then Musical Expressions is it. I take piano from Emily Liu, and drums from Mark Peyton. Bobbie (office manager), only hires the BEST teachers and it shows. What makes this place so great are the TEACHERS!!!! Ya'll are the best and thank you for everything you have given me :)
