Heavenly Pianos

Recently purchased a pre-owned Yamaha for our home. Bob was wonderful, patient, and so helpful. The price was very reasonable compared to other places that offered the same similar piano in term of quality and age. I know this because I called several places to compare prices. He even let my husband played pretty much all the Yamaha pianos available in the store. The store has such a wide selection of Yamaha pianos. The delivery was quick and easy…and tuning was wonderful. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a Yamaha pre-owned.

I called the store today because my business is interested in donating a piano. They advertise that they buy and sell used pianos so I figured I would call and offer to donate it to them or someone who is in need of one. The employee that answered the phone asked what kind of piano it was and then informed me it would be $375 to pick up and "dispose" of the piano. I told him I was looking to donate the piano, not dispose of it. To this he replied with an attitude "well who's going to pick up a piano for free??" My company has movers that will move the piano from where it is now and I haven't seen advertising for "piano disposal services" list on Heavenly Pianos' website. So, either they have the wrong number listed online or the employees just have horrible customer service skills. My guess is the second one.

I had been earnestly looking to purchase a new Grand Piano for about 6 weeks when we made our visit to Heavenly. Bob was very gracious with his time and introduced us to various lovely instruments. I ultimately gravitated towards a restored 6'2' Steinway Grand, and when I voiced concerns on the voicing in the upper keys, Bob immediately agreed with me and suggested his technicians would address it if I was interested in playing the piano again afterwards. I came back 1 week later and they had done an excellent job. Bob's no-nonsense, direct approach helped us reach an agreeable price quickly and within another week, I had my dream piano delivered + assembled in my house. Thanks Bob and Heavenly team!

I have purchased an upright piano from Heavenly Pianos for Bach to Rock Music School in Arlington Heights and also had Mark come out and tune our pianos at both Northbrook and Arlington Heights locations. I cannot say enough great things about Mark and Heavenly Pianos. Fantastic care and patience when purchasing the instrument as well as an incredibly efficient and accurate job tuning. I HIGHLY recommend this store and Mark for any piano purchasing/tuning or repair needs.

Love this place! Bob was excellent; very professional and helpful. He was able to communicate to us and help us find exactly what we needed. If you need a piano this is where you want to go!
