Brought a 1965 Fender Bassman Amp in and the tech was unbelievably knowledgeable and I have never felt more secure on knowing it would be done right. There pricing is totally fair also.Thx Steve馃幐
Mar 14, 2025 路 Todd Menkeits been a lil over a year since my 20 year old HRD got serviced here. my amp is still running perfectly, running 4-8 hours a day. I haven't blown fuses, tubes or etc, frequently, which had been the norm before. you get what you pay for. I've taken my gear everywhere in the city & this team has really high quality work.

I needed a nut replaced on a PRS guitar and when I got it back, the nut slots were cut far to deep and two strings were buzzing badly. Turn-around time was great and the team is always friendly and welcoming. Execution of the work this time was a complete miss. Edit: I went back to Chicago Fret Works after they reached out to me. We had a great conversation and I decided leave the setup as is. I should not have questioned their expertise. I was just not used to a guitar set up that well.
