The library of 10,000 songs has brought a renewed sound to our house. If you have a boat anchor sitting in your house but love the sounds that it used to make, check out a retrofit.

May 11, 2024 · Suzanne McDonoughMy boyfriend and I both play piano just for fun and we were wanting to upgrade my piano, we didn't know much about different types but we had noticed PianoNation and decided to go in just to see what was out there in the piano world. We were met by Dan in just a few minutes and he was awesome! He was very knowledgeable about all different types of pianos. He was really just teaching us about the different styles, types, makes, and models. We decided to go with an upright Brodmann and couldn't be happier! All the way from the purchase to delivery they were so accommodating and professional. We have had the piano for 2 weeks now and just love it! I would definitely recommend PianoNation!
Apr 02, 2022 · Kati SchneiderI found it hard to shop here. It’s impressive when you first walk in as they have a wide selection of many externally beautiful pianos. From there it gets more difficult though. The first thing we were told was that “just so you know the prices listed on the pianos are not the prices that we charge“. Umm…ok? Why don’t you put the real price on the piano then instead of a made up number? Makes it really difficult to know what you’re looking at or what would be in your budget, etc. When you want to know a real price, the salesperson has to go look it up somewhere and then bring it back on a little Post-it note. My guess is they don’t want to clearly list the price of the pianos as a strategy to size up each potential buyer and maximize the profit opportunity. The salesperson kept referring to the owner, who was not there, and I had the sense no decision gets made without him being involved. As to the quality of the instruments, these are mostly rebuilt Steinways. A properly rebuilt golden age piano can be great if it was done properly. When I asked, the salesperson said “I think these are reworked somewhere in Poland?”. Personally I found the pianos widely inconsistent and not on par with other Steinway instruments I’ve played. It was difficult to tell though as most were out of tune. If I was going to buy a rebuilt, especially at the prices PianoNation is asking…I would want a LOT of information about who rebuilt it…when…where…whether or not high quality parts were used, etc. Bottom line I wouldn’t recommend anyone buy a piano here without bringing in an independent piano technician to assist.
