So disappointed. I rented a saxophone and had it for less than 24 hours. My daughter was not able to get the mouthpiece on even it cork grease. When I returned it, I was not able to get of my money returned. I was told that it was the store policy. I asked for a store credit and was denied. I asked to speak to the manager. The clerk emailed her and then gave the same response. Next time I will ask more questions about the return and rental return policy. #notreturningasacustomer

My son broke a string on his guitar today...which is, in his mind, is truly equivalent to the end of the world. Realizing that it's close to closing time (on a holiday weekend no less), I wasn't even sure if he'd be able to get it today. But wow...The guy at Broughton was AWESOME- went well above and beyond to make sure he not only had his string but even took the time to put it on for him. Highly recommend!

Sep 02, 2023 · Ruma Srivastavait pains me to write this. I went to this store, which I've been going to, for years. I wanted to get a case for my ukulele. The employee at the time was very kind and I very much enjoyed his patronage. However, the case I ended up purchasing was faulty. Not a big deal. He called his manager, and told me one would be in by Wednesday (6/17/15), I hadn't received a call like he said I would, so today (6/20/15) I decided to stop by and see if it was there. This employee did not seem to know what he was doing. I told him about the situation, and he looked around, pulled out a case completely different from the one I'd ordered, and told me that was the case. It has 1 less pocket, and It's not as nice as the one I ordered. It's also missing the purple design of the one I originally liked/purchased. I had brought my receipt which was for roughly, $27 plus some odd tax, and he tried to charge me again for it, saying this case was $21. I explained and he let me go, but This means I lost roughly $5, and ended up with a lower quality case that I do not care for. I'm mildly disappointed.
