E Towne Way #1, Madison, WI 53704, USA
This B&N is nearly perfect. The employees are kind and helpful, and the store in general has a superb selection of books and more. I would have given it 5 stars if it not for the fact that there are only a couple of reading chairs placed throughout the store and the restrooms could use a major upgrade. I know it's not a library but having cozy reading areas throughout the store and not just in the cafe make for an even better shopping and reading experience. Overall, this B&N is excellent.

The employees are kind and helpful, and the store has a superb selection of books and more." Jan 25, 2024 · Lisa DambachThis place is ginormous. The bathrooms were gross. But the selection of books, and toys and magazines was really nice. Being it is in a mall in a college town I am not surprised at its semi run down condition, however they did a really good job of trying to hide it. The place was welcoming, lit well in the right areas, and full to the brim of all things book worm. Appreciated. I know that it is a struggle for brick and mortar stores as it is, especially books, however I hope corporate sees this and pours a little love in the direction of this particular store since it is such a safe hub for this college area and town.
Nov 13, 2024 · Carly RondeauSo I came into the store looking for a book I was told I could get here the woman I approached happened to be a manager her name is Heidi she was rude the whole time and when I let her know she was being rude she became even more rude and then thanked me for my comment in a very rude way. If you don't like customers you shouldn't work in a place where people are going to ask questions. I could understand if I came in and I was rude I simply asked a few questions related to things that are being sold by your company and she was just extremely rude for no reason
Mar 02, 2025 · Grayce WIt is great there, except in the reading spaces. You sometimes get loud teens talking on their phones, disturbing your quiet area for reading. Maybe a no phone talking sign would help.
