This is the perfect place to buy a guitar. White glove treatment. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. Paul and the young girl there were amazing to work with. They helped me decide which guitar was best for me. Complete white glove treatment. I'll never go to a big box guitar store for any reason ever again. Family run business where the people really care about you as a customer. They definitely now have a customer for life. I can't recommend them enough.

What a wonderful music shop filled with wonderful people. I was blown away at the time Paul took helping me settle on a guitar. The entire staff acted as if I was the only person in the world. Great online photos and descriptions of all guitars. If you are looking for the perfect guitar, do yourself a favor and call Paul. Unfortunately you missed out on the prettiest looking and sounding guitar in the shop (see pics below) hahaha Martin D-18 Ambertone. Sounds as good if not better that it looks!

Went in yesterday for the first time, and ended up purchasing an Eastman E2200S/v. I am mostly an electric player, but this shop had the best selection of acoustic guitars I have ever seen. They have some extremely cool high end pieces, and also a great selection of more affordable but high-quality-to-dollar guitars. The Tobias family were all very kind and a great source for information. I would highly recommend checking out this shop if you are in the market for an acoustic, or an Eastman (electric/acoustic/mandolin).

Wow! What an amazing and extremely charming music shop! Every employee was very helpful and notably kind! Drove here from Milwaukee to pick up a Flight Pathfinder Ocean Blue Electric Baritone Ukulele, could not find it anywhere else! Owner personally reached back out so fast when I contacted the shop before I made the trip. Best experience buying any of the instruments I own, by far! Tobias Music is worth the drive from anywhere and I hope to be back soon! My only regret is that I wish I had more time to spend there before I had to get back on the road! 🎸🚗 PS. The Flight Pathfinder is hands down the best sounding electric ukulele I have ever heard, the tone is unmatched and it sounds incredible through a Fender Mustang GTX! Thanks Tobias Music!!! 💜

Tobias Music is a family owned run business, which is located in Downers Grove, Illinois. I would highly encourage anyone who is looking to purchase a great Acoustic Guitar to shop here!!! I purchased a new 2021 Martin D-18 Ambertone Guitar from them over the phone ( a first for me) and I've never had a better experience ever! The Guitar was in MINT CONDITION when it arrived, not a scratch or nothing wrong just PERFECT! The Martin was still in perfect 440 HZ tune when I first played it after traveling amazing! They shipped it very professionally and secure and arrived very quickly to my Farm in KY. Paul Tobias is a class act and very knowlegeable and super person to work with. I cant wait to buy my next Guitar from them in the future! I appreciate the Martin Guitar Shirts and the wonderful Guitar Humidifer that Paul added. The extra goodies were not expected. But were very much appreciated! And just goes to show you how they really care about there customers. That speaks volumes in these days and times.
