Ozgur Tumcelik Violins

I know Özgür Tümçelik's violins from İstanbul, where he used to have his atelier. I was always happy when a new violin of his appeared and I could enjoy playing on it. I do very much recommend them to colleagues, and young musicians as well.

I had an amazing experience working with Ozgur. He fixed up an old violin I’ve experienced a lot of issues with and was not feeling the motivation to play. With Ozgur’s work on the sound post, bridge, neck angle, and more, both the sound and the playability are significantly improved. It feels and sounds like a new violin! Ozgur was patient and attentive to my needs for the violin. He was extremely fair in his evaluation and took the time to thoroughly explain the purpose of every adjustment he proposed. It’s clear he is passionate and knowledgeable about his craft. I’m very happy with the work on my violin and the whole experience! I will be going to him with future work and would highly recommend him to anyone

Ozgur is very knowledgeable and patient - he listened to my concerns and did a very nice tonal adjustment for me. He also pointed out a few possible adjustments for future considerations, and gave me many suggestions on string selection. I would definitely recommend this place.
