My wife and I took our daughter to look at a new flute and get her old flute repaired. We expected to go in and pick a flute and get out. Mike helped us and wanted to make sure she got the next level flute for her to be able to improve her playing. He spent the rest of the evening working with her...analyzing how she plays, helping her with some bad playing habits and teaching her a few things. We left that night with a new flute that she was very excited about and has been loving it ever since. I would recommend Mike to anyone looking for a new instrument. He was great and very knowledgeable about all instruments.

In my 20 years of playing- this is my first guitar with a locking tremolo, so a string change and set up is a little daunting to say the least. Grateful for the recommendation and like I said, Calvin does absolutely incredible and timely work!

I’ve had him work on a number of my guitars from cheap knock abouts to vintage American guitars. Never had a complaint. He’s always happy to work on my stuff and he does so at a good price. He’s also not afraid to tell you he can’t do something. Highly recommend. If you own an expensive guitar, don’t be put off by the student player guitars on the wall. Calvin knows his stuff.

I stopped by this weekend and was very impressed with Mike's knowledge, and his helpful and friendly demeanor. He let me try the instrument out, offered to let me try any number of others out, and when it came time to make a decision, he worked with me to make sure I went home that day with the horn of my dreams. I'll be coming back here for future purchases, service and repairs. Like I said, I wish I had known that such a great store for brass players was just minutes from my house. I had a great experience shopping here. Highly recommended!
