Best place for all musical needs!! The staff is the best around!! The instructors are above and beyond hands down the best. I'm personally taking bass lessons and Jordan is so amazing teaching me.

Melody Mart has been a landmark in Homewood for generations! They focus on music and musicians to ensure happy learners. My kids have been students at MM for a while, and both DK and Jordan are amazing teachers who pass along their passion and love of music. Check them out!! Melody Mart is amazing! They offer everything from individual and group music lessons, sales and repairs, community events, and tons of music knowledge. My daughter takes private violin lessons with Al Joseph, and he's a fantastic instructor. She's also had the opportunity to be part of several group ensembles like Junior Jam Band, Treble Makers, and String Ensemble. I cannot say enough great things about all the staff and instructors. The small group instructors we've worked with (Alissa, Esperanza, Jordan, Davis, DK, and Anakyewaa) go above and beyond to inspire and encourage every musician to learn and grow. They make music fun for students of all ages and abilities. Melody Mart is an incredible community, and I highly recommend stopping by the store for all of your musical needs!

I've taken guitar lessons with Frank and he is amazing. He is very familiar with many styles of music and has a great understanding of music theory. After taking lessons with him I feel like I have a much better understanding of how to use the whole fretboard while playing. The rest of the staff is also very helpful and very friendly. Great place to take lessons.

This is a great place. I talk with the staff often. They have given very helpful advice about my instrument care (my clarinet and my guitar). Everyone I have spoke with is very knowledgeable about music too. I take guitar lessons with Frank here and participate in the adult jam band. I have improved a lot thanks to Frank and I am often inspired by my band mates. I never feel bad or nervous when playing. Everyone is very encouraging. I would recommend coming here for your music needs.
