I've been visiting this shop for over 10 years and have only gotten spectacular service there. In addition to getting several violin repairs at a steep discount or free, the owner (Korinthia) respected my need to stick to a budget while maintaining my instrument. Korinthia let me choose when I would pick up my instrument without charging me for a speedy turnaround time, which is rare in the luthier world! I love supporting this small business.

Kory is extremely knowledgeable and talented. Many area professional artists are her customers for good reason. I purchased strings ( love the AVA Golds), purchased 4 bows and a violin from Cory's shop over past 14yrs. She also maintained my 2 fiddles and did a variety of repairs standard maintenance to make them sound their best!

Went in with my 10-year-old daughter to rent a violin for her second year lessons. We were greeted as soon as we came in she knew our name since we had made an appointment and helped us throughout the process. Answered all of our questions and gave us more than enough information which we’ve greatly appreciated. My daughter felt completely comfortable asking questions and getting measure so definitely five stars 100% recommend. Also best pricing ever

I just got back into playing violin after 22 years and there was A LOT that my orchestra teachers never educated us on in regards to routine needed maintenance on your violin and bow. Kory educated me on the things I needed to replace once a year such as the bow hair and strings (mine were from the stone age). I also had several things that needed to be repaired on my violin. She got back to me very quickly by email and was able to get me in to get things looked at with ease. I was able to get all the repairs done on my violin the next day and needed a new bow. She was courteous enough to allow me to take a sample of 3 different bows to take for a test run for a week before deciding. She also recommended to take at least a lesson or 2 in her shop with a teacher, which was very reasonably priced. She even wrote a book called My Violin Needs Help to educate people on their violin maintenance, which i will probably also buy. Very happy with my experience and wish my orchestra teachers had taught us about all of these necessary maintenance things.

She encouraged me to learn the violin as an adult completely new to music who walked into the shop by chance. A different, less positive interaction would have had me leave the shop without a second thought but because of her I've been learning for several months and been loving it. The rental prices are also incredibly reasonable.
