I waited about 2 years to write my review that way I'd could give a better informed review. I purchased the WaFarer kit sizes 20” bass drum, 13" tom, and 15" floor tom. I also had them make an 8" deep by 14" aluminum snare drum. I even went as far to visit their shop in Portage Michigan for pick-up. I gig several times a month, often using this kit. It's compact, great for places like White's Bar in Saginaw with a very little stage. Super light weight. It responds very well to different tunings. I tend to keep it low to medium. The snare drum is crispy. They have a patent on the "infinite" snare bed. It works very well. I was concerned that the small bass drum wouldn't sound deep. That is no longer a concern. It does seem a little bit quieter than a standard size bass drum. Another negative (which is really my fault), don't expect these drum to resist scratching. The aluminum is softish. Perhaps if I was gentle with loading and set up this wouldn't be an issue. Independent Drum Lab has put lot's of engineering into these drums. I'd really like to sell my DW then buy one of their maple kits as well. With out a doubt, this is the best drum investment I've ever made.

I will be using Inde drums from now on. I had 4 people compliment my drums the other night. They truly are special pieces. Highly recommend Josh and Inde drums!

Very sturdy, quality build and has a great click stop type of tension adjustment. Highly recommend if you need an upgrade or replacement!
Feb 08, 2023 · Dick RayrayStopped in to get some Turkish cymbals - Inde is the main place to get them in the US - their selection and support was great. The shop is an old bank - a really cool setup. Josh and Craig even gave my young sons and I a tour and were patient while we asked lots of questions. The drums sounded amazing - made right in west Michigan.
