Guitar Center

After graduating from boot camp, my son was desperate to play a guitar. The staff at this store were amazing. They were so welcoming to my son and a couple of other new sailors.

Absolutely disappointed with the Guitar Center in Highland Park. We recently purchased an electric guitar from them, and it turned out to be defective right out of the box. We were excited to start playing, but our excitement quickly turned into frustration when we realized the instrument was faulty. When we approached the staff at Guitar Center, expecting a simple exchange or a refund, we were met with complete indifference. They showed no interest in resolving the issue or providing any assistance. It was as if they couldn't care less about their customers' satisfaction. Their lack of customer service and unwillingness to stand behind the products they sell is truly appalling. We expected better from a reputable store like Guitar Center. Instead, we were left with a defective guitar and no resolution in sight. I strongly advise against purchasing anything from this particular Guitar Center location. They have proven to be untrustworthy and unreliable. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by taking your business elsewhere. This has been, by far, the worst experience we have ever had with a music store

Fun store. Bad place to work. Was fired for “poor sales” but was never informed on what I fell short on. Was also written up for my hands in my pockets. Then when fired was slapped with MISCONDUCT. The manager Dom plays favorites and has a stuck up attitude. I’ll be shopping anywhere else other than guitar center the rest of my life.

Called to check on my item that I bought from Guitar center. Apparently the guy that answered wasn’t listening carefully to what I said then hung up on my face. I called back saying you did not listen to what I said he’s the one that got mad and said go call your sales associate. WHAT KIND OF WORKER SAYS THAT. Now I have been on hold and yet no manager answered since I asked for one. Very rude employee. I do not recommend shopping from this location because he seems to be mad and angry and just wants to kill every order and send people off. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Purchased a Yamaha acoustic guitar and had the technician, Mike, lower the action to make it more playable. Mike did excellent work and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
