Grand Piano Haus

Jeff and his father Fritz are the most knowledgeable people when it comes to pianos. I was searching for my first piano after not playing for decades and when I initially talked to Fritz I knew I found the right person and place. My first piano I bought was a good one but not wanting to invest a lot of money I did not hesitate due to their very generous trade in policy. Jeff made the delivery and set up himself and even paid for my first tuning! This is unheard of. When I decided to upgrade Jeff once again went out of his way to make the process seamless. He even came over after the delivery to clean it as some dust apparent got into it when it was delivered. I bought an amazing Schimmel in matte black. It is truly an amazing instrument. (Photos attached). Jeff and Fritz are the best and I would not go anywhere else when it comes to purchasing a piano.

One of the greatest blessings of my life is an absolute gem of a little Mason Hamlin console purchased from the Grand Piano Haus. Jeff Tasch, one of the owners, worked meticulously to tweak the voicing and regulating to my liking, and the result was an astounding sound that I truly had never even imagined possible. I have a demanding and idiosyncratic ear , and for the Steinway grand I've had all my life, have only used technicians that work on the CSO pianos. Would happily ask Jeff to take care of both my pianos, but for the great demands on his time elsewhere. For me, entering the store is visiting a little portion of heaven. Jeff's fascination with, and fascinating stories about piano makers in the U.S. and abroad are captivating. His father, Fritz, is a warm and noble spirit who has travelled through the dark decades of the WWII to the present ones, and worked alongside the masters of the European violinists. The Grand Piano Haus reflects the wonderful family that built it.

Purchased a 2004 Yamaha C1 today! This piano was apparently barely used by the previous owner and looks and plays like a new instrument. This is the second Yamaha piano I have purchased from Grand Piano Haus. The first was a brand new C7x that I purchased on behalf of a church back in 2014. I had a great experience the first time, so of course I came back when it was time to purchase a piano for myself. Jeff and Fritz are very knowledgeable and eager to help and answer questions. They were also quite accommodating as it took me no less than three visits to decide on this piano! Prices are on par with competitors with a great stock of new and used pianos in house. Every piano on the showroom floor is in pristine condition. If you are looking to purchase a piano, I highly recommend this store. Great experience all around, and I will be back if I decide to upgrade my piano in the future!

We purchased our first upright piano from Grand Piano Haus and have been very happy with it. Having explained what we were looking for, Jeff, the owner, quickly but thoughtfully recommended a Kayserburg Artists Series upright. Having little knowledge of the brand, I quickly became impressed with it. Jeff was very informative, but not pushy which I appreciated. He also personally tuned the piano. I would recommend Grand Piano Haus to anyone thinking about buying a piano. They also have an amazing looking piano show room! I was finally ready to buy a baby grand for myself. I had started to explore Yamaha and Steinway, but as a kid I had studied on a Schimmel, so why not looking into a German piano? Jeff from Grand Piano Haus and his father Fritz were the best. They helped me with my decision without any pressure, sharing useful information about piano mechanics, brand, maintenance. They let me try all the vast choice of pianos on the floor on a couple of different days to compare sounds and feeling, being very welcoming of myself, my wife, and 2 children. In the end, I decided to purchase a Kayserburg Artist for its quality and price. Jeff went above and beyond keeping the piano on the floor for us while we were remodeling the room to host it. The delivery was smooth and courteous. I love my new piano and I was extremely happy with the purchase experience with Jeff and Fritz. Thank you!
