GNT Jewelry and Loan Kenosha Pawnshop

I had a few pieces of jewelry that I wanted to sell and a friend recommended GNT in Kenosha. I’ve never been in a Pawn Shop so I was a bit hesitant. I was greeted by a young guy who was with a customer so he directed me to a woman who was so welcoming. She asked me a few questions about what I was looking to do and made me an offer that was very generous. She asked if there was anything I was looking to buy and showed me some nice pieces. Overall it was a very good experience and I highly recommend GNT for anyone looking to sell, buy or pawn. I walked out a happy camper!! Clean store and very professional and knowledgeable staff.

Absolutely incredible and gorgeous jewelry here- my husband and I LOVE this place! He purchased jewelry from Tiffany’s for me for a long time even though I prefer antique pieces (brat alert) but GNT has the best of both worlds. They have high end bags and jewelry- including Tiffany- but also beautiful pieces with history. I have a vintage Victorian era broach from here that EVERYONE comments on. If you want something that represents specifically only you and your personality, this is the place. Tom and his crew are also a wealth of knowledge and super fun. Cannot recommend them enough!

Bought very pretty engagement rings here. Definitely worth the price! The men who work there seem knowledgeable however we had the woman help us. The only one in there. We bought the rings (around $8-$900) and received the receipt and I asked “Did we pay everything?” She said yes we were good to go! Rings would take 3 days to be resized. Ok cool we came in on a Friday! Rings were not done until Wednesday! I gave the woman grace because maybe she forgot it was a weekend? But still her fault for not informing us, weekends don’t count towards the 3 day wait. Okay cool we get a call Wednesday evening that they were ready for pickup! I said ok on my way… this woman said ok the price is $125 and hung up the phone. LMAO WHAT!? My boyfriend then called back and asked why this wasn’t explained to us and her answer? “I don’t know” how unprofessional!!! It seems like she’s a con-artist and was going to pocket the money herself because we were never informed about a “fee” that I would call it since they never even said what the $125 was for. However the man up there settled it and said It was a misunderstanding. Thank you but still yall are foul for that. If the $125 is for resizing I do understand that but I don’t understand why it was never brung up before until the day we had to pick up. My advice would be to check if you owe any more money and their return policy because if they didn’t wave the $125 I was definitely going to return both rings BECAUSE ITS THE PRINCIPAL. Other than that, jewelry is beautiful and price is reasonable. Thanks to the man that resolved it. EDIT: the rings were fitted at ship and sent off for resizing. The ring is way too big and slips off my finger. Now I’m irritated fr.
