My 10 year old son did the Evolution Music Rock Camp last week. He has never played an instrument. He had a blast. He played drums, base and electric guitar. The camp concluded with a concert where they played; Smoke on the Water Gossip, It's My Life, Seven Nation Army, and Enchanted. Jon did an amazing job with the kids and now my son is interested in drum lessons.

The boys always look forward to their lesson and love showing me what they’ve learned when we get home. Kirk is so patient and an excellent teacher. We look forward to many more lessons with Evolution Music.

Located just off of downtown, you walk into the shop feeling like you are walking into a concert at an old theatre with the way the entrance is designed. This unique shop contains a staff that is extremely nice and personable. Dan in particular is not just an employee but a real person who shows a genuine interest in you as a customer but also as a human as well. I found myself caught up conversation because I felt like I was talking to a friend. That’s how great they are there. Great shop and great staff. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great local music shop or to anyone who just values great, old fashioned customer service! (Cool guitar and drum selection as well, great variety!)

We also started taking classes with Kirk in October 2021 and my son is doing very well. Kirk is a great time manager, has developed a positive relationship with my son and is creating custom lessons to meet the interests and level of my son. We are very happy to be able to use such great resources right in our neighborhood!

Alex was the one who I was talking to and sold my gear to and he was absolutely amazing! Everything was smooth and easy and very communicative but also SO friendly, I 100% feel like I got fair prices and seeing him light up when he was trying out my amps and going off on how he thought they were cool and since I was the only customer in the store we proceeded to geek out about gear and punk music. I was quite upset about having to sell my gear but honestly that dude seriously made my day and made me feel 100x better about it. Plus being a woman and a trans woman at that I'm generally used to dudes at music shops talking down to me and trying to rip me off but Alex completely made me feel respected and when I gave him my old name for my account he immediately asked me what name I was going by now and changed it in the system no questions asked, it was very sweet. 100% this is the place to sell your gear if you don't want to deal with marketplace or craigslist or any of that.
