Sep 05, 2024 · BarryThis is as a movie collector, not a disgusting book collector 🤢. The movies aren’t priced that well compared to the nearest other movie seller, Disc Replay. The organization is so bad. All the movies are just jumbled together. One minute you’re in the anime section, then boom you’re in the exercise DVDs. No hard separation. All movies formats are in the same 6 sections. No separation of DVD, blu-ray, and 4K. I would love a dedicated 4K section. I don’t want to sift through all of them to find like 1 very overpriced 4k movie. I’d even like a section for the boutique movies from Criterion, or Arrow. But no. No self respecting Criterion collector is not going here.
Jan 09, 2025 · Joseph ManuelI used to enjoy this place a lot more, but lately, though there are thousands of books to choose from, new and used, they're almost always full price. The used books are almost the same price as new and I would NEVER recommend selling DVDs to them. I brought 48 DVDs and they said they could only take 31. That was fine and understandable, but they wanted to give me $1.38 for ALL 31. The staff, however, is usually friendly and the atmosphere is clean and calm.

I was intrigued with the buy, sell, trade options which had signage everywhere but I didn't actual see or get offered details about it when I made my purchase. I was asked to sign up for their rewards but declined- maybe the details would have been with that sign-up 🤔. Worth another trip if your a browser, thrifter, or looking for a place to recoup cost of books you've read.
