Doug has a great rapport with them and makes them feel very comfortable and confident in their progress. They really enjoy their lessons and music as a result. Doug has excellent skills and really cares about his students. Really glad we found T.O.L. Studios!!
Oct 25, 2022 · Tammy CaisterI’ve been going to Doug for about 3 months now and I’ve been improving a ton! I’m confident he would be able to adapt to a bunch of different learning styles. He lets you choose whatever music you want to learn and studies it even when you’re no there to make sure he knows what he is talking about. Going into my first lesson I was nervous as I had barely played guitar and had never gone to a music lesson, but looking back I had no reason to be worried! Doug has been extremely kind and patient with me as I’ve been improving. I highly recommend!

Doug is very knowledgeable, but able to talk to the kids in a way they can learn from him. He is always willing to help in anyway he can. I like that he knows how to keep the boys interested and engaged in what they are learning, so they want to keep coming back for more. Thank you for all you do to help keep music in our family.

Doug is a very patient teacher and finds ways to connect with his students and make them comfortable with the process. We feel very fortunate to have found him and highly recommend him as a teacher!
