I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to give some props to this store and especially to Matt. It was pretty busy when I came in, but he was super friendly and welcoming to everyone. Even though he was helping a bunch of people, I never felt ignored or rushed. He helped me find exactly what I needed and made everything quick and easy. I’ve been to a lot of GC stores around the country and worked with several associates, and Matt is hands down one of the best I’ve come across.

I bought an acoustic guitar with "repaired" top crack from this store online for a very good price. I called twice and had 2 different people tell me the crack looked like it was repaired correctly and otherwise the guitar was in great shape. So the guitar arrives and wouldn't you know it, the crack hadn't been repaired at all, push on it a little and you can clearly see it move. Now this part is the only reason I'm giving any Stars at all. I called up guitar center fully expecting them to try to brush me off. Instead of brushing me off the manager I got immediately offered to either send me a return label or refund me almost double what my local shops said it would cost to fix. I even pointed this out and the guy refunding me said hopefully the extra was enough for my time and gas taking it to get fixed. So 0 stars on telling me the guitar was fixed when it clearly wasn't. But 5 stars for owning it and making things right.

I recently utilized the rental department at Guitar Center for a sound system reservation, and while there were a few hiccups, the exceptional service provided by Ryan and Madison ultimately made for a positive experience. Upon arrival, there was a bit of a wait, but Ryan, one of the managers, went above and beyond to assist me with my rentals. His professionalism and knowledge were evident as he helped me select the right equipment for my needs. Unfortunately, one of the stands I rented was broken, which was a bit disappointing. However, I appreciated having brought along an extra pair of stands as backup. While it would have been preferable for the staff to have checked the equipment thoroughly before renting it out, I understand that oversights can happen. When I returned the rentals, Ryan and Madison were both incredibly helpful and apologetic about the condition of the stand. Their genuine concern and willingness to make things right were greatly appreciated and left a positive impression. Overall, despite the minor issue with the stand, I was impressed by the level of customer service provided by the rental department at Guitar Center. Ryan and Madison's professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction ensured that I would not hesitate to return for future rental needs.

After weeks of assurances, they finally shipped my keyboard, promising on the phone that the extreme lateness was due to them needing to pack it carefully. So how was it packed? An 88 key digital piano was tossed in a box with a single layer of bubble wrap, loose. Not even enough to wrap around the thing. The keyboard arrived smashed and I got my money back, but boy did they waste a lot of my time. I have no idea how or why it would take so long or be done so poorly and I probably never will. UPDATE: The store manager, Josh, called AND emailed me about how disappointed they were in this experience and said they would love to give me some free stuff to keep my business. So I said that’s great. I’ll pick something out and send you an email and you can tell me if it’s OK. So I picked something out and sent him an email and that was two weeks ago. After a few days, I called to see if I could talk to him and left a message and so far nothing. Why go through all the trouble of trying to get in touch with me just to ghost me anyway? This store is truly the gold medalist of the not having your shit together Olympics.

Stopped in to get some strings and browse around. Matt was excellent. Easy to talk to & very personable. Definitely the type of rep that makes me want to come back to this location.
