Mar 03, 2025 · Dag WoodMy experience with Dave’s in Madison was excellent. I would like to most especially thank Josiah. I ordered my Les Paul from them via Reverb. I had some second thoughts about keeping it due to some uncharacteristic indecisiveness on my part, and Josiah was extreme patient and focused on making sure I was satisfied with my purchase. In the end I kept the guitar and am extremely happy I have. I would suggest stopping by if you’re local, and to not even hesitate or think twice to do business with them online. They’ll make sure you’re happy.

As a customer, I appreciate the ability to peruse, think, and try out guitars, and if I have a question, there is an associate ready to answer questions as needed. Dave runs a tight ship that is, at the same time, relaxed and friendly. I'm very happy the Sun Prairie (Madison) store is so conveniently located (my wife, however, is not as thrilled!).

The instrument was extremely well packed to prevent damage, which I very much appreciate. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was very kind and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend Dave's!

Joe in service does great work and has set up many of my guitars to perfection. Josiah, Kirk, Isaac, and Lea are especially nice to work with. I highly recommend you checking out Dave's Guitar Shop! I want to also shout out the LaCrosse Dave's Shop. I've purchased a few guitars from them. Each time, they have made the process seamless and shipment was speedy.
