Best Buy

I came to buy/look at an open boxed item. After looking at the item, it was in such a shape that i did not even want it at open box price. Out of curiosity, I asked for the price hoping it would be below even the online price due to condition. It was listed for $30 more than online and Best Buy would not match online price. I could have purchased online, for in-store pickup at price listed online. I will NEVER be back to Best Buy.

Fraudulently sold me a faulty product (excellent condition, was missing a critical part) and was unable to rectify the issue beyond “we can give you a refund or you can buy the item at full price”. I am now out several hours of my time and looking at losing a source of income due to the store’s inability to verify their product. Literally the only reason you should come here is if you’re a) with an elderly relative who will only shop at an in-person store or b) if you’re willing to roll the dice on the quality of the item you’re getting, especially an open box.

Interesting you could only purchase items online and pick up curbside. Not sure why? Maybe short staffed. You could not enter the store. Had to wait a little longer than I expected. But the person who delivered my TV was very nice. Originally tried to purchase the TV at the Holland store but they were out of stock. When I mentioned the Monroe Street store the staff told me to order online and the store was curbside only. But didn't tell me why. Holland staff were very helpful and nice as well.

Customer service trash waited 15minutes to buy a 1600 drone asked twi employees for help and all I got is someone will be with you . Naw but others get attention over me maybe I’m not the right kind of looking customer here ?

Ordered a Xbox Series X online for pickup at 4, gave them 2 hours to “pick” out the Xbox and they told me it would be ready by the time I got there. I get there and they told me the order hasn’t been “processed” yet even though the money came out of my bank account already. I was given 2 options, cancel the order and buy a new one or wait 15-20 minutes so they can “push it through”. I said I would wait and I had time. About 5 minutes later I get the notification that my order was canceled. Nobody told me, the manager (I assume?) then looks at me and walks out the door. One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve EVER had. Only reason for the 2 stars is because of the young lady who actually apologized to me who was a 3rd party in all of this. Last time I visit Best Buy!
