I went there in late may of last year and my experience was terrible. I bought a few books and a few vinyls but when I was checking out their system was glitching and they couldn’t confirm the sale but still went to my bank account. They put my items on hold and I came back a few days later once the pending charge went through thinking that would be enough proof for them to give me my items but to no avail. I showed them my bank statement but they claimed they still had no proof of sale on their end. The problem with this is that it was ME that was out $200 for a problem THEY had. Additionally, the manager was very rude and acted like I knew nothing about transactions since I’m young. This was supported by the way I saw her treat some of her younger employees. All in all, I did my one and only responsibility as a customer which is to pay. They were rude, took my money, and it wasn’t until I called and got mad at her that magically the issue was fixed and I could just come in and get my stuff. I like Barnes and noble, but if anything goes wrong (at least at this location) , don’t expect them to work with you

Nov 05, 2024 · Em PoffI was able to walk in and find the book I was looking for immediately. The way the store is set up, with defined genres and sub-genres, definitely makes finding a specific book easier..let alone a specific genre. New books can typically be found on a display near the shelf with books from the same genre. The signs labeling the shelves are easy to read with large letters, I can only imagine this is to benefit those with difficulty reading at a distance. My interactions with employees have always been pleasant. You have to be a nice person to work at a book store, right? Jokes aside, it feels like a warm and inviting place. They even have a little lunch area (I have not explored this area, so I'm not familiar with all of it's offerings, but it reminded me of the little snack area that used to be/still is in Targets) Anyway, if you're in the mood for a good book and don't where to go, you'll find something here. Choose here before you choose somewhere else :)
