Wade's Guitar Shop

First time here and I’ll be back! I was stumped by a dead fret and he diagnosed it within about 30 seconds and was able to repair it in less than 5 minutes. Outstanding service, amazing price, and guitar intelligence at its finest.

I was helped by the owner, Wade. His son, Kid, was working as well. They were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and considerate. From these self-proclaimed "guitar geeks," I casually learned about a dozen different things in half an hour, explained clearly and succinctly by someone with a passion for what they do. I can not give a stronger recommendation based on my two visits so far. I will be going back.

First time visit. Cozy eastside guitar store. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about all things guitars & accessories. Let me play with couple $1600-$2100 Martins. Bought some elixir strings and couple items from the half off bin and he threw in a free low end harmonica. Sure as long as in area that be back! Give it up for your local ma & pa’s folks, show them your love and support!

My dad dropped his guitar off a few weeks ago to be fixed.He was a great guitar player. Sadly he passed away over the weekend and I knew I needed his guitar with me while I begin the journey of living life without him. When I arrived they offered their condolences and I took home the guitar without a charge. My dad has been coming here for years and I know he would have thought that was amazing. I will always remember their kindness and definitely be back for more repairs in the future. Thank you Wades, seriously.

Wade's is a great shop and they have a wealth of knowledge. I do not follow the normal traveling guitar player setup. I run large cabs that do not travel. Wade is one of the only people at any local store that listened to my goals and offered suggestions and helpful advice to do what I was looking for. Not that other places weren't helpful. Or they didn't try to help but I was clearly reaching way out of their wheelhouse. If you got very specific technical stuff in mind. This is the place for you. He wired my 2nd bass build 11 years ago and have not had any issues to date. Highly recommend this shop!
